DAT MIDI sound. Reminds me of the FF VII soundtrack.

To this day, I still believe the cheat codes in Tomb Raider 2 were the best and most complicated of any game. It was like an early Just Dance game

That music

Great memories. That music normally meant a safe zone. Or one of those blue save crystals.

The Midas gold hand was a piece on genius puzzle design.

I really miss these old games sometimes :(

And the collesium level.

Where you had to go through all those rooms of the gods. I used to climb to the top. And just chuck myself off the top it was that far 8-)

Forgot how many memories this series holds for me

I loved the first Tomb Raider. I remember I was ill over Christmas and my dad was taking my brother into the city to spend his Christmas money. I asked my dad to get me a game and he came back with Tomb Raider, a game I had never even heard of.

I'd heard of it, just had no idea how awesome it was.

The minute you got dumped in that cave on your own and those wolves come at you, you knew it was gonna be amazing.

The T. rex didn't bother me.

Swimming in the water knowing there were crocs somewhere bothered me more :dread:

The T-Rex

We were freaked out by the bear at the start, but that T-rex came outta no where.

Always thought the guy at the start of TR1, the guy that gets maulled by wolves looked like Peter Andre.

I'll say this though... I've never played a Tomb Raider game since the last one on the PS1 :shifty:

I'd love to see a remake of 2, that was the one I spent the most amount of time in back in the day. Unlikely now though I suppose, after the reboot.

I'm about half way through TR 2 now and it's quality. Older games are so much better.

This, I miss good games that are heavy on exploration, seems like this series is going in the same direction of Resident Evil.

Still think they should've modelled Lara on Angelina Jolie, the new Lara just looks plain; young or not.

Those videos brought back great memories. I had it I'm the Sega Saturn... Just watching them reminded of how sluggish and awful she was to control. Still she had a great set of moves, remember you could make her do a handstand and swan dive for no other reason than it looked cool.

Tomb Raider 1 & 2 are definitely in my top 10 games of all time, such good memories of them. Never liked 3, way too hard and gave up with them after that.

I did enjoy Legend on 360, but it wasn't great. Never played Underworld or Anniversary...

1 and 2 were excellent. 3 and for 4 were insanely difficult and beginning to get a bit stale. 5 they were just taking the piss. 6 was a shambles. 7 was good. Anniversary was outstanding. Underworld was alright.
