Doesn't deserve to be buried in the Last Film thread so let's do it.

I saw a lot of these in 2014 but sticking to 2015 releases over here, my list looks something like this...

1. John Wick
2. Mad Max
3. Star Wars The Force Awakens
4. Ex Machina
5. Whiplash
6. The Martian
7. Inside Out
8. Birdman
9. It Follows
10. Ant Man

Lots of apparently great stuff that I still haven't seen, mind (Sicario, Brooklyn, Carol etc)

As for worst... Terminator Genisys easily.

Fight!

I've loved Star Wars, Ex Machina, Inside Out, Ant-Man, Straight Outta Compton, The Martian, Kingsman, Entourage, Southpaw and The Man from UNCLE.

I also enjoyed Sicario, Age of Ultron and Jurassic World a lot but all had a few issues. Ted 2 made me laugh but wasn't as good as the original.

Disappointed by Spectre and Tomorrowland.

1. Mad Max
2. Jurassic World
3. Ant Man
4. Inside Out
5. Krampus
6. Spectre
7. Birdman
8. Star Wars
9. Minions
10. Ted 2

Worst, hmmmm, Age of Ultron was a letdown. Loved bits of it, but overall a bit meh.

Mad Max was the best of the year by a mile. Instant classic and just a perfect film.

Wish my image sig would work

I don't think I've watched a film from this year, bar Poltergeist, so that gets best and worst for me.

Wasn't Whiplash 2014? Also not as good as everyone says... :shifty: The most impressive thing about it is that it's actually mostly Miles on the drums.

I think of Whiplash as a 2014 film.

Released in January 2015 in UK by looks of it.

Same as Kingsman-I thought that was in 2014 too.

How the strawberry float they keep missing the point of the Terminator films I don't know.

Just give us a film based on that scene in T2 where the robot trundles over loads of skulls. The bloody war they keep mentioning but never bother showing because it would make a decent film and require a script that didn't shoehorn in Arnie to say the line "I'll be back" or anyone to say "Come with me if you want to live!".

Until we get that film all Terminator films are dead to me and I refuse to watch them.

I'm surprised by how highly rated Fury Road is, it was good but hardly "best film of 2015" material.

I'd say its a 7/10 at best.

I enjoyed it a lot but it came out last year (as in 2014), didn't it?
