1. Predestination
2. Victoria
3. The Hateful Eight
4. The Gift
5. Ex Machina
6. John Wick
7. Kingsman: The Secret Service
8. The Visit
9. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
10. Spooks: The Greater Good
11. It Follows
12. Mad Max: Fury Road
13. Spectre
14. No Escape

Terminator Genysis was the worst. Didn't think Much of Jurassic World either.

2015 has been a pretty gooseberry fool year for film judging by people's lists

1. Mad Max
2. Whiplash
3. Inside Out

It was pretty hard work getting to 3 :dread: so I won't go further, most other stuff I've seen has been alright.

:?

The only ones from your list that I've seen and don't rate are Star Wars and Birdman (was that really this year?). Otherwise I put them in the exact same order.

Never heard of John Wick and It Follows. I do want to see Ex Machina and The Martian though. Not fussed about Ant Man.

Edit: strawberry floating Cineworld doesn't even track the films you've seen so I have no idea what I've seen this year.

I'm pretty sure you haven't seen most of the films released this year.

I've seen most of the films I've heard of on your list and given only one other person has mentioned those two it seems perfectly reasonable that I haven't heard of them.

Stop being a banana split.

You just listed off 5 that you haven't seen in a list of 10. And that's just my list of fairly mainstream stuff. I've seen about 25 movies released this year, btw and I'm by no means an expert.

I'm just saying you can't proclaim it a gooseberry fool year for film when you have barely seen anything released.

I just watched Sicario this afternoon and that shoots straight in to my top 10. That was outstanding. Benicio Del Toro

Noticed a couple of you saying Predestination, genuinely never heard of it until this topic.

It's one of those films that's best to watch without reading too much about it first.

I've heard people compare it to Looper so that puts it on my to-watch list for sure.

Looper was overrated and Predestination is worse.

I can't trust a man who thought Toy Story 3 was gooseberry fool, refuses to watch Inside Out and actively wants to watch The Good Dinosaur.

Sorry.

2015 films I've seen:

Ex Machina - great
Mad Max: Fury Road - good
John Wick - great
Chappie - good
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - surprisingly good, even Simon Pegg was tolerable.
Avengers: Age of Ultron - alright
Jurassic World - alright
Predestination - meh

Yet to watch

Ant Man
American Sniper
Bridge of Spies
Gone Girl
Hateful Eight
Kingsman
The Martian
The Revenant

Hateful Eight isn't out in the UK until next month.

Surprised more people aren't including The Theory of Everything. Comfortably the best film of the year IMO.

I thought it was last year!

Wikipedia says January 1st. :fp: It was indeed excellent, though.

I'd definitely put Straight Outta Compton and American Sniper on my list if they were this year.

Managed to miss loads of stuff that i wanted to see this year. Ten that I did see and liked, in no particular order:

Birdman
Whiplash
Ex Machina
Inherent Vice
It Follows
Everest
Sicario
The Walk
The Lobster
Straight Outta Compton

Biggest stinker was Jupiter Ascending. Jurassic World was the most disappointing.
