9. The amphibious cars
The team attempts to make amphibious vehicles from normal cars. Clarkson's Toybota, Hammond's Dampervan and James's Mayflower all end up getting rather wet.

8. Two-wheeled road trip across Vietnam
The boys swap four wheels for two and plough across, into and over Vietnam.

7. The non-future for British cars
In a surprisingly poignant film, the boys look at the demise of the British sports car. There are also a few mild disasters.

6. Reliant Robin rolls repeatedly
Jeremy drives the three-wheeled Reliant Robin. Many, many crashes happen.

5. Clarkson drives to work
At five, what might just be the funniest film TG ever made. Jeremy takes a Peel P50 - officially the tiniest production car ever - into the office for a meeting. Literally.

4. Jeremy reshapes his face in an Ariel Atom
Jeremy's face-rearranging Ariel Atom drive reveals just how ridiculous this car is.

3. The boys enter the Britcar 24-hour race
Using homebrewed biofuel, Jeremy, James and Richard take a BMW 330D endurance racing.

2. James (briefly) breaks records in the Bugatti Veyron SS
Captain Slow belies his nickname and sets a 259mph production car world record in the 1,183bhp Veyron SuperSport. For about twenty minutes.

1. Drive across Botswana
This is the one where the boys go to Africa, buy a car each for £1,500 then drive it across the country. Jeremy gets a Lancia Beta, James a Mercedes 230E and Richard an Opel Kadett. Called Oliver.
