I really wanted to post this in the Israel/Palestine topic but I'm sure I'd have been banned on a technicality, so here it must go. Please watch this one - Pat's views are the same as my own views and if you want to understand where I stand on this whole Arab-Israeli issue listen to what he has to say.

I agree with him in this instance to a point but I can't bring myself to even try to argue the points.

If his point is that many middle-eastern (and therefore, by extension, Islamic) countries have appalling human rights issues then he's set himself up for an easy win. If he thinks the slaughter of Gaza's population is justified because of this, then he's a tit. I really shouldn't have to explain why.
