Transfer from PayPal to Bank

I've been told it can take up to 72 hours for a transfer to go through.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had to wait that long before ?

It will be 72 hours at 3pm today and its a large sum of money so I'm not sure if that's why it's taking so long to process for security checks etc.

Don't use Paypal much but I did a transfer to my bank a few weeks back and it was there the same day.

Strange. Mine goes through within 10 minutes.

Yeah I'm a little worried as it's for nearly 1k.

I was told it would go in by 3 today and that it doesn't make a difference that today's the weekend.

Makes me wonder if they make interest of holding it.

My withdrawals are usually sorted in a matter of seconds but they do say 3 days is possible

On hold current wait times are up to 47 minutes at the moment.

After getting through on the phone, the money appeared in my account so that's a relief not sure I'll use this method again if it's going to take so long.

Might have just been the amount that did it, I have a direct debit set up and it's instant but that's small amounts
