They took the right step in booting Shia.

Now they need to boot Bay. And the writers. And the godawful juvenile humour. And the weird need to make a dumb robot movie three hours long. In fact, boot every single thing that isn't Peter Cullen.

It looks like a series of explosions and car cash test videos with CGI robots in them and an editor with a slow motion fetish. Oh and Mark Wahlberg.

That looks, and this is coming from someone who believes Transformers 3 to be a war crime of sorts, a degree of magnitude worse than any of the other films. I mean, at least the others had good CGI, that was almost entirely indistinguishable from a video game clip.

Optimus Prime riding a giant robot T-Rex? Good, now I've seen the best thing about the movie I can reaffirm that there's no way I'm going to see it at the cinema

I wish I could decide on how a movie was based on 30 seconds of footage.

If you didn't like the first three then you won't like the 4th. If you enjoyed at least one of the first three then it will be worth either seeing it or waiting for some reviews.

I was really hoping they were going to do something to "fix" the robot designs.

I love 1 and 3, and I'm really looking forward to this. The snobbery towards these films always amuses me.

He doesn't have four legs.

HE's clearly some kind of wingless wyvern.

(Though, it would tie into the whole "Beast Hunters" thing the Toyline has segued into).

Apparently the dinobots are introduced during a part of the film set in China. I don't think it's a coincidence that Grimlock's head looks a bit like a Chinese dragon.

I always through the best way to introduce the dinobots was to have them crash into a natural history museum and take their forms from a dinosaur exhibit similar to the way the rest of the autobots arrived in the first film.

Aww, no Omega supreme?

This must be the first sequel of a sequel of a sequel that stars a more famous and appealing lead than the three films that came before it.
