Disappointed that Russell Edgington was killed off in such an anti-climactic fashion.

I was like no. That just did not happen. I thought the strongest vampire would at least get one big battle before being killed. Also Does this mean Bill is dead and the vampire god is back in his form? I actually enjoyed this season, but they could do so much with the wolves .

Bonus scene for the finale:

According to the show creator:

TVLINE | So, is Bill God now?
I don’t want to say if he is or he isn’t. Who’s to say what Lilith really is? He is still Bill but he is something different.
TVLINE | So there is some of the old Bill in there?
It is Bill, but it is a transformed Bill. He is not a completely new person. It’s not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he’s just a baby.
TVLINE | Can he revert back to the old Bill?
Well, that’s the question: Is he going to be evil? What does he want? What is he going to do? Will he be able to revert back to Bill? That’s for future seasons. The implication, certainly, is that he is more ferocious.

There's a pretty good interview with Denis O'Haire here.

Came together quite nicely in the final two episodes.

I'm just watching the first series at the moment. Not bad at all, these vampires are bad-ass,

Lego Grand Theft Auto... You KNOW you would buy it.

Is this series similar to Vampire Diaries? I'm just about to start watching Vampire Diaries but this seems interesting too.

Been cut from 12 episodes to ten for season 6 due to Anna Paquin being preggers and the budget

Hopefully that'll force them to keep things moving at a brisker pace. And cut down on the number of simultaneous plots.

So I'm guessing no one else bothered with the first ep? Didn't really miss much, mostly very uninteresting.

I did actually.

I really don't give a damn about the Werewolves and the Shifters.

At least Rutger Hauer might make things interesting.

The second episode was better than the first, though Eric is essentially carrying the entire show now. Loved the scene in 6x02 where he impersonated the bird guy.

It's still worth watching, it has some good parts, and some gooseberry fool parts. It doesn't really take itself seriously and I just see it as over the top but good dumb fun.

6x03- So Warlow is clearly a fairy/vampire hybrid and the new guy right? Time spent dragging that story out is time taken away from Eric. Not really sure what Eric's plan is though, I would have thought turning the governor's daughter vampire would be enough. Also bad is the werewolf storyline which remains awful and I wish it would die.

Is there any male character in this that Sookie isn't prepared to bang?

Hey 6x05 was pretty good! Non-coincidentally it had the least time spent on werewolves as well.
