True Blood - Final Season

A pretty dull finale with only about 3 interesting minutes at the end. The Russell thing had been heavily promoted in the media but vampire Steve Newlin was surprising and I liked Eric and Bill's brief scene with Nan. I hope season 5 goes back to the vampire stuff which has always been the most interesting part of the show (it's about time we saw The Authority) and that Tara remains dead. Bringing her back with V would be another major cop-out.

Also, why is Rene's ghost speaking with his fake Cajun accent?

FINALLY. Good strawberry floating riddence Tara. Finale scores mega points for that alone.

I quite enjoyed the season overall once it got started but yeah, I agree with Mori. Get the focus back on the vampire gooseberry fool.

So I guess Deborah Ann Moll decided to break her no nudity rule for the finale then. Fair play.

Also. Regarding Tara, can even vamp blood heal a hole in the head?! I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Good to see Renee back. Hope he features more.

I read that the actress who plays Tara will be around next season in some form.

Whether that's through flashbacks, being a spirit or surviving isn't revealed.

I'm sure Jesus will be back as a spirit to guide Lafayette, although I hated the whole medium/magic thing.

I don't actually mind Tara to be honest. But the whole medium/witch bullshit was terrible. I liked the ending of that season reminded me how good True blood can be if it concentrates on the vampire gooseberry fool and has good twist and turns.

This also needs more wolves. The lack of wolves this season was disappointing.

Jessica DAYUM!!!!!!!! She's so hot. They should just make her the focus of the show along with Eric.

Christian vampire dude is a potentially very interesting plot story, more interested by that then the return of Russell.

Thought the finale was quality actually. Really enjoyed it, just as I was so so close to giving up on the show.

Pam is really shining every time she is on screen. They should give her a bigger role..

Very iffy season all in all, hopefully the last episode is an indication of things getting back on track with Vampires next time round

Meh, same old same old. As said there are way too many characters, but the problem is they seem to give every character screen time every episode. I think Mad Men does it quite well by leaving some characters out in certain episodes and I think this show could possibly benefit from that, just keeps swapping between characters too much.

Not what I would call good but an entertaining enough episode nonetheless. There really are too many different story strands going on simultaneously though, it's ridiculous.
