Case 1:
Murder in Edgeworth's office!

Gameplay consists of three phases:
Investigation, Confrontation (Cross-Examination, except in the wild) and Logic (Nothing is really known about this one yet).

Your rival appears to be another prosecutor (the pink, medal wearing dude), which seems a bit random, but I'm sure they've put some kind of twist on it. Playable demo at TGS, so we should get more concrete info on how it plays then.

And "NEW Turnabout NOT Game" is going to be unveiled on September 23rd, so that isn't something to miss either!

Really looking forward to this! :D

Am I right in assuming "NEW Turnabout NOT Game" is GS5? The title doesn't exactly make much sense.

It can't be Apollo Justice 2, as that's a game.

The only thing we know about this new project is that it isn't a game and that the voice recording for it was finished a few weeks back. Edgeworth, Phoenix, Apollo and Klavier told everyone to watch out for it (there is an announcement thing on the official site), so we don't even have a clue as to which arc it could be based on.

Since they talked about recording voices it makes you think it's an anime, or a movie, but it could be a CD of some kind too.

I hope there's some courtroom stuff in this. I'd love to play as Edgeworth in court. Nonetheless I'll still get it. I really should finish PW3.

Looks nice. I need to pick up PW3 and Apollo Justice first though, definitely playing these games in order of release in case there are spoilers.

It'll be an anime/movie with Naruhodou, Mayoi Ayasato, Reiji Mitsurugi and Keisuke Itonokogiri though. That's not something I really want.

This looks great! :D

Is there anything about the release date at all? It'll be next year since 2009 is visible in the second picture, although I can't see anything else.

Phoenix Wright cartoon would be the best thing ever. As long as it featured Maya and Gumshoe.

Looks amazing. I fear we won't get it for quite some time, however - if at all. Does anyone know how Trials & Tribulations did in the US?

It's one of Capcom's top franchises, although I don't know the exact sales of each individual game they are more than happy with how well it sells. They talked about it at their financial meeting recently, and it's sales in Japan (due to massive importing, I'd bet) was one of the "leading factors" in Capcom's increased profits. They aren't going to suddenly turn around and stop translating the games, it's got a far bigger fanbase in the US and Europe than in Japan, and Capcom are well aware of that fact.

Why the sudden gloom though, Hero? Did you hear something? Capcom have been fantastic with the localisation of AA, except for the T&T/AJ hiccup and it's easy to forgive them for that.

That's not Capcom's fault, as it doesn't self-publish in the UK. Unless I'm much mistaken, Capcom wouldn't have been responsible for the translation into all PAL languages (and if it was, it may not be responsible for the botched release date order).

And no, I've not heard something. I'm just wary of getting my hopes up, because an English version of this would be in my top 3 most-anticipated games.

Nintendo Europe publish, but Capcom translate it. It's a joint operation, as far as I can tell from the interviews. It wasn't really a botched release as it was intentional. They decided that everyone had already imported Trials and Tribulations, so it would be better to get Apollo out and then localise T&T later, since the series was always playing catch up with Japan and they needed to clean the slate for the next set of games anyway.

But, to appease your fears, the director of the series held an interview with Capcom-Europe this week, and Perfect Prosecutor was the main focus (although she said absolutely nothing of interest.). I doubt Capcom Europe would let her chat about and hype a game they've no intention of ever releasing. She actually answered a question about it launching near-simultaneously in Europe and the US, just like Apollo Justice.

This is my most wanted game on DS, is the Apollo Justice 2 development still going on in another development team? Or is everyone just involved with Old Edgey poo at the moment?
