Isn't Turok 3 supposed to be bad?

I know it loads a lot, maybe they fixed it.

Looks like I'm buying Turok 3 then. Never played it back in the day. Though 1 and 2 were ridiculously good. Will actually buy the trilogy as want them on my PS5 as well as switch.

Wish my image sig would work

Bloody excellent review and channel. I didn't know there were 4 Turok games on N64. I thought Rage Wars was Turok 3. Exciting to play a new (to me) Turok game.

Wish my image sig would work

They were strawberry floating ridiculously far apart weren't they.

I distinctly remember Level 5 being on a sort of spaceship and there being precisely one save point in a level that even in a clean run took several hours to finish.

I remember getting Turok 2 on the N64 for £20 new at Dixons. Then later whenn I bought my ram expansion pack from a local indie shop, I played it and rogue squadron in glorious CRT high res. I remember thinking it looked amazing at the time.

I remember the first and only thing I noticed was it made HUD smaller.

I don't remember that at all, I just recall the waterfall type bit right at the start looking amazing.

I’m sure it looked much better than I remember, the HUD just sticks in my head because my first thought was that I’d put it in wrong.

Might have been level 2 or 3 where there was save points genuinely 45+ minutes apart.

The Turok 2 remaster lets you save anywhere doesn't it?

These can currently be had as part of a Humble Bundle for £5.48.

The other two games in the bundle look like absolute dog gooseberry fool though so I won't even bother redeeming those
