When I was much younger (there was a time), cinema was a treat and a big thing. Now films get to your TV pretty quickly and the budget behind TV series can now be massive. But which do you prefer? A nice TV series or a film?

I'm much more into TV series these days because the episodes are convenient, I can watch just one if I'm short on time or maybe watch a couple back to back if I have a bit more time. Films just don't have the same attraction any more.

Films. I like the generally self contained nature of the story. Though with that said, I also like episodic films like the MCU. But yeah, generally films.

I generally like to watch a mixture of both, though one superior thing about films in particular is that the studios aren't as flaky when it comes to releasing them on disc.

I've been more into TV shows for just over a decade now, I enjoy the lengthier plots and spending more time with the characters. That's partly why I'm really into the MCU movies too.

I barely have time to watch either and so I treat both equally: will watch as much as I have time for and then will drop and pick up at later date. Even if that means stopping in middle of the film or series.

For me they each have pros and cons; a film can't delve as deeply into its subject matter as a series can, but I've yet to watch a series which comes close to a film in areas such as cinematography. The Godfather and The Sopranos are a great example of this.
