TV Speakers Degrading, Need New Speakers

We've been using our HDTV's in-built speakers since it was bought 17 months ago, and now when we play games or watch shows on it, we can hear them struggling, and it's getting worse. So, I need some speakers, something cheap but that won't break through normal, everyday use. A sound bar would be great, or something else. It must have a Digital Audio Out cable to plug into the TV as I can't work the copper wire speaker things I wasted 20 quid on a few months ago. Not bothered about a sub-woofer, but they should be able to carry bass well.
Anyone?

That looks great, but I'm having trouble finding American sites selling new, non-refurbished models.

I need something cheap, under $100 ideally, but I could stretch to $150. I haven't got $500, or even $250, to splash out.
Would these speakers work okay?
