Think they did, but I missed it. They got Yves Guillemot out to introduce it.

Also I thought the host wasn't too bad either. Certainly better than Mr Caffeine or whatever the strawberry float he was called.

I seem to remember EA and Ubi having the best conferences last year.

Montreal

That explains why it looks so good then. Cheers.

Yeah that did look like a prototype controller with Xbox colour buttons.

Truth.

Watch Dogs I'd say is a Nextbox game. The controller the guy was using looked like a prototype, but with the Xbox colour coding for the buttons.

Given MS were super quiet on Nextbox themselves, would they let other people demo/show games for it?

So what you're saying is, they teased what is essentially a glorified tech demo for the next generation?

I'll take my twenty points now, please.

The prediction says Microsoft or Sony have to do it. :P

For a midsized publisher they put everyone else so far to shame.

Makes Patcher look like even more of a moron for totally slagging them off before their conference.

Great conference, shame my stream was so shitty. That Watch Dogs thing looked brilliant, I'm going to need to watch that section again. Looked like he was using a 360 controller but I'd be amazed if that was running on a 360. Can't imagine it was WiiU they would have said so otherwise

Far Cry 3 looked amazing too, but I didn't think much of Assassins Creed 3. Great conference overall.

I'd agree, especially disappointed with Ass Creed 3, I love the series, but it just didn't look like it was introducing anything different and there's been so many Assassin's Creed games lately that they really needed to try and do something new to wow us.

Far too much detail and too advanced effects for either 360 or PS3.

Likely running on PC.

Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell, Far Cry 3, AC3 and Watch_Dogs all looked fantastic. Bravo Ubi, bravo.

No Rainbow Six so they lose 2 points there.

Yeah I couldn't believe how down he was on Ubisoft before their conference. I don't know if he was talking profits and stuff but he even ranked them as a mid to low level publisher. By far the best of the conferences so far - to be honest I can only see Nintendo's show coming close to topping that. I thought the host did a fairly good job. Your usual E3 cheesyness...but she was far more entertaining and funny I thought.

Well, no. Which is likely why the demo happened off to the side of the stage (so people wouldn't see the dev kit it was hooked up to), no platform was mentioned, and all the button prompts on the HUD were removed.

Think you two will be pretty much on your own about AC3.

Looked awesome to me, massive step up from the AC2 games.

Interestingly, scanning a QR code that briefly appeared in the demo leads to dotconnexion.com, which appears to be a viral site related to the club seen in the game.
