Nvidia's Shadowplay. It's supposed to add a bit of lag if you turn off exclusive mode (which you need for sound in Shadowplay recordings), but I'm not sure I notice it.

Cool. I've only got a 560ti so I can't use it. I was thinking of upgrading next year so I'd have to wait until then to try it out.

It'd be great if you were to keep making videos and posting them here. Any other songs you have or are close to fully mastering?

Stay In is fully leveled I think and I really like playing it, but I need to get a little better at it first.

Here's Stay In. I managed to completely screw up the beginning because I wasn't paying attention, but the rest of the song sounds a little better.

This week's DLC is a Radiohead 5 song pack.

Creep
Just
Karma Police
Optimistic
My Iron Lung

The latter two songs are in alternative tunings (DADFCd and EGDGBD), so there could be the possibility of more songs with alt tunings in the future. Not really a fan of Radiohead so another week of no DLC for me.

I love Steam sales. RS1 DLC is currently 50% off and the Disc Import Tool is 25% off. The day one DLC for 2014 is also 25%.

RS1 is also 50% off and RS2014 is 25% but if they appear in a daily deal the prices could be reduced further.

I already got most of the RS1 DLC I wanted during the summer sale but there are probably a few more songs I'll want to get. I was hoping the 2014 DLC might have been reduced but there's still the Christmas sale.

I'm kind of disappointed with Master mode in this. I thought that the parts you had mastered would slowly fade away over a long period of time giving you plenty of time to adjust, but I found mastered parts disappearing by the end of a single play of a song. I turned it off in the end because it just wasn't enough time to adjust. I was really excited about that feature, too.

Songs I'd actually play. Worth keeping tabs on.

Looked into it and you cant use the rocksmith adapter which is a shame but might pick it up if its not loads of money when released in the uk.

Probably the easiest song to get 100% on, but it still feels good to have finally got one.

Nicely done. That was the first song I played in master mode in RS1. Noticed a few slight changes to the note chart. I still haven't got the RS1 songs imported over yet. Waiting for a decent discount in a Steam sale.

I forgot to update the thread earlier this week. A five pack by The Who. I'll wait for Tueday's DLC before I update it again.

Not exactly a lot of competition there, but when a man's gotta brag a man's gotta brag.

It's probably time to move on to a different song to master now. I've been practicing House of the Rising Sun, but I think it's a just a bit too fast for my skill level. It's a lot of fun to play though.
Most likely either Stay In or Paint it Black.

Very nice. The only score attack on master difficulty I've done so far is Blitzkreig Bop. I've played a few other songs on Easy/Medium, going through a few on the list rather than working my way up to Master for each one.

As it's been a while since I last updated the thread I'll just post what's been released for DLC since.

The Who 5 Song Pack
"Baba O'Riley"
"Behind Blue Eyes"
"Who Are You"
"Pinball Wizard"
"The Seeker"

The Disturbed 3 Song Pack
"Down with the Sickness"
"Asylum"
"Voices"

And finally, if the rumours are correct, tomorrow's DLC could be pretty good.

Today's DLC is a Muse 5-pack.

“Hysteria” (Tuning: E Standard)
“Time is Running Out” (Tuning: (E Standard, No Rhythm Arrangement)
“Supermassive Black Hole” (Tuning: E Standard)
“Stockholm Syndrome” (Tuning: Drop D)
“Muscle Museum“ (Tuning: E Standard)

Hysteria will be worth it for the bass part alone. 8-)

Muse and Maiden DLC, I really need to get back into this so I can further butcher songs I love.
