The origami model for Heavy Rain was totally separate from the manual, which itself was more of the same black and white uninteresting crap. [/pedantic]

Ah, I thought both versions came with the hand written poster job (like someone had just scribbled on an envelope/spare piece of paper).

I wonder if the inevitable cost savings will carry over to the consumer.... :?:

Probably not, in terms of games prices at least.

I too will miss the smells :(

I'm not bothered about losing manuals though as I never read them anyway and most games teach you everything you need to know as you progress through the game. I will miss them if they remove them from certain PC games however.

About time someone made this change. If the instruction isn't in the tutorial then it's of no use in terms of gameplay anyway.

All for it.

Spoken like someone who's never tried to play Baldurs Gate without the three manuals.

More spoken like a person who doesn't play strategy games.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

As for this being an "environmental initiative", how much energy will be wasted by tens of thousands of TVs and consoles being switched on while the on-screen manual is read?
