Hello, i've graduated from University and I'm applying for the Teach First initiative, but on the application i have to convert my A Levels and AS levels in to UCAS points. How on earth do you do that nowadays? I have three A Levels at A grade English and B grade Business Studies and History and then a further two AS levels at A grade Film Studies and B grade Psychology. Anyone care to help me out?

360 - FOR 3 A2 A
200 - FOR 2 A2 B (I think)
60 - AS A
50 - AS B

I think I make yours as 120+100+100+60+50=430

Is this gonna be a "compare our UCAS scores" thread?

My A levels were ABBCD so 460?

As my A is General Studies and some don't count that I also got 340.

Cheers guys, so what UCAS score have i got?

Do you get a different score if you got an A at English AS and then an A at A2 Levels compared with getting a B at AS and then an A at A2?

I don't think so. You only get the AS or the A2. So the AS is included the the A2, the break up of the modules doesn't matter, only the overall result of A2.

Including General Studies in your points total = automatic 1000 point deduction.

Games and Stuff.

If you can read this, you're too close.

My course wanted me so badly they let me use General Studies to get on it, despite the ABB requirement. So I coasted through A-level.

380 including my AS. 360 without.

Compared to GCSE I epic failed at A level. :( Damned laziness.
