Will be getting for sure, loved the earlier ones, will struggle at first as I'm so use to the THQ controls.

I wonder if bad judges decisions in the game will be a result of poor programming, or being ultra realistic.

As long as the ground game isn't as simplified as it was in EA MMA I'm in.

I think it will still be a 7/10 game despite looking really good. I just don't see it being far better than the others that have come before. That said I hope to be proven wrong.

Will it include a promoter mode where you get to go ape gooseberry fool at press conferences?

I will pay good money if I get to rage at the judges after every main event.

I think Aldo and Chuck look the best. Some of them are quite amusing.

GSP looks like a serial rapist. I'm concerned that they've yet to show any proper gameplay footage. I honestly don't think this is going to be all that good. If they fail on the gameplay, it won't matter how good it looks. Like I'm sure they'll do an okay job, but okay is enough imo. It has to push what's be done before to the next level to be truly successful and be considered a great fighting game. If EA are purely relying on that fact that it 'looks' like UFC, it will fail.

Fighting mechanics will just be a straight lift from EA MMA. :dread:

EA MMA was amazing. I've been choking for a sequel since they stopped the online on it. Played so many online matches on that.

Shame the ground game was created by people who thought infantilising their audience was a good idea. :dread:

The ground game was atrocious, same limited animations over and over and not nearly dynamic enough as far as mechanics go where you could work from multiple positions/angles. The create mode was so basic, it wasn't even worth the time, so lazy.

Ground game was pretty simple, but ufc was much the same, just with slightly more convoluted controls. The striking in mma was really good. Timing counters or catching people stepping in had a much bigger effect. Also the impact of leg kicks was much more realistic than UFC. Leg kicks were pretty much pointless in that.

Still no proper gameplay footage or any real info on the game and it's out this spring.
