Good Idea for a ongoing thread Mori.

Let's laugh at Brown/Labours implosion.

I thank you. It's Labour's conference next week so there'll be plenty of opportunities for hillarity.

I'm quite amused by their drift towards the centre-ground this year. But hey, at least they've made a change from their ridiculous tax-and-spend policy of the Kennedy years. Can't imagine their minority and activist student support will be too happy; but screw them.

Quite like their campaign on a return to football standing too, I must say.

Like MM I'm just looking forward to the Labour conference though :)

I vote Lib Dem and I will be interested to see what is announced. I hope they announce spending cuts for the NHS to fund spending on public transport, schools and the armed forces (who have been chronically underfunded for decades).

I'm hoping it was a self deprecating joke centred on the oft-explored similarities between Clegg and Cameron and what would happen if their atoms collided. Doubt it though.

I retract my praise.

Make it politics again - there might not be an election for 2 years :P

Things I know about Nick Clegg;

He's shagged 30 women.

He thinks pensioners are on 30 quid a week.

:lol:

It was something like "David Cameron went to CERN and asked the scientists to put his policies in their big particle err errr machine. They said it couldn't spin fast enough to make a big bang out of something which didn't have any substance." That was the gist. It didn't make any sense but Lembit Opik found it hillarious.

Harman did all but blurt out she would love to stand as leader :lol:

Mind you, Hislop was right on a lot of what he said tonight. The gag about Palin's appearance compared to our lot was a brilliant kick where it hurts :D They also may as well give Alan Duncan a permanent seat as he's on often enough.

That Lib Dem woman was just embarrassing though, what the strawberry float was she chosen to represent them for? Sounds like another woman only there to satisfy particular unspoken 'quota'.

They always have 1 labour, 1 conservative , 1 lib dem and at least 1 journalist. And yeah Harman didn't do Gordon any favours. :lol:
