I was surprised how far Desmond managed to drag down Channel 5.

Just started watching Sherlock this morning, and finished Season one not long after. The first episode was brilliant. The following two were good, but I was a bit disappointed the humour didn't carry on to the following two episodes. Either way, it was definitely a good series, and i'm looking forward to starting Season 2 soon too.

I swear this isn't something I just knocked up in MS Paint. I mean strawberry float, if that's the best they've got I think I'd rather go back to bed.

Has anyone been watching that program done by the chap from educating essex? Mr Drew's school for boys.
If I spoke to my parents like that when I was their age, I'd have gotten a good smack.

Gritty Italian crime drama based on Robert Saviano's book of the same name which the New York Times dubbed "the most important book to come out of Italy in years".

Starts Monday 4th August at 9pm on Sky Atlantic

Gomorrah is the inside story of fierce Neapolitan crime organisation the Camorra, as seen through the eyes of Ciro (Marco D'Amore), the obedient and self-confident right-hand man of the clan's godfather whose loyalty is tested to its limits.
Acclaimed Romanzo Criminale writer and director Stefano Sollima is responsible for the overall art direction and also directs multiple episodes of the show, which is shot on location in and around Naples, Barcelona, Milan and Ferrara.

12 episodes, already renewed for 2nd season. Positive review from Variety - http://variety.com/2014/tv/reviews/tv-r ... 201195153/

Ok, me and the missus watched Lurhor over the last few days. It was great, shame it ended. Any recommendations on something similar?

I really want to like it, but it does come off as a poor man's Police Squad.

I have recently been watching The IT Crowd. Almost at the end of Season 4 now.

Had not seen it before.

Seasons 1 and 2 were brilliant. Seasons 3 and 4 seem to lack the same magic. Maybe it's the lack of Richmond. The writing seems to have lost something too.

Been going through some comedy shows over the past six months or so, watched Bottom, Blackadder, Father Ted, It Crowd, The Thick of It and Black Books. Some of them I've seen before.

Currently watching the Alan Partridge boxset, on Knowing me, Knowing You. Never seen this before. That bit in the first episode where he brings the TV presenter's son out

I love it all, and all the seasons have some classic episodes even it's not all at quite the same standard. There's a special episode to end the series after the fourth which is pretty excellent. I think it has it's own separate entry on Netflix.
