Really? So sooooo much better to come and you are done now??

He's a PC gamer, to you he's playing games almost a decade ahead.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Fully aware of where PC graphcs are at.

That's good enough?

Plenty. The amount of displayable detail in most cases far outstrips the need for it.

Most of it is only visible in a small number of cases during gameplay, which is ridiculous when you think.how much that detail costs to create.

Stick some volumetric clouds around 'em and *bam* those mountains could be straight out of Skyrim.

I'll hold judgement on UE 4 until I've seen it in motion.

Few more screenshots from the tech demo. I think it's definitely something we need to see in motion to appreciate the jump in graphically quality and other features..

It appears to be the number and detail of lighting and other effects thats really being pushed here, rather than the amount of polygons its pushing being massively increased (at least thats how it looks to the naked eye).

Well it's just 2.30 pm in LA right now. I thought they weren't unveiling this until 8pm their time. I guess we won't see it until tomorrow.

It looks more impressive in motion than in screenshots unsurprisingly. I am loving the particle effects and stuff, a hell of a lot of work seems to have gone into those.

Atleast two gens away to see anything like that in full gameplay.

Oh god.

The particles effects and lighting are extremely impressive but the demon didn't blow me away like Samaritan character did. Still, I want it, I want it now

It really doesn't look all that much better than what can be achieved on a high end gaming PC.

I was more impressed with Square-Enix's next gen engine demo :shifty:
