If we can convince social media and networking apps/websites to pull crackpot &/ fascist content then that might generate a little bit of publicity for the pulled content short term, but long term it will mean fewer people will be exposed to that kind of propaganda via those platforms and that has to be a good thing.

I don’t know if that is aimed at me, but that is certainly not my position. If I owned or was in charge of Twitter then twats like Alex Jones would have been gone a long long time ago.

People like Alex Jones should be reported and complained about until sites like Twitter finally act against him. But it is for Twitter to decide (again as long as it is within the law) what they do and do not allow people to post. However much I might personally hate it.

Hopefully Twitter does come to it’s senses and gets rid of all the far right loons. But I don’t think they will while Trump is President, they would end up losing their best customer.

Nah, it was mostly aimed at Red Dog. But I didn't want to name names in the fear that it would appear too combative. ;) (No offence intended to Red Dog but I think he is pretty wrong about this issue.)

I'd hate this to be true, but I can see it as plausible :(

Turns out....it was!

Fetch me old brown trousers, bring them to me now, I'll wear them in the rigging as they fire across the bow. Fetch me old brown trousers, I fear we may be hit, for even if they shoot me now, they'll never see me... ;)

Mueller is apparently aware of this, according to the tweeter.

Put this in the category of interesting rather than definitive but the first time Trump tweeted about "her emails" in 2016 was 10 minutes after the Trump Tower meeting finished.

President Donald Trump's parents-in-law have become US citizens in a private ceremony.

Viktor and Amalija Knavs, Melania Trump's Slovenian-born parents, took the oath of citizenship in New York on Thursday, their lawyer confirmed.

He said the pair had been living in the US on green cards sponsored by Mrs Trump.

President Trump has railed against family-based or "chain" immigration in the past.

He argues instead for a merit-based system prioritising professionals over relatives, and has drawn criticism for his vocal attacks on immigration laws and immigrants.

BBC news article about the anniversary of Charlottesville is pretty good. Told from multiple perspectives.

Britain should side with Donald Trump rather than Brussels over Iran, the US ambassador to London declares on Saturday as he calls on America's "closest ally" to reverse its position on the controversial nuclear deal.

Writing for The Telegraph, Woody Johnson challenges the UK to abandon its European neighbours who are still backing a deal to trade with Iran and join forces with America to enforce hard-hitting sanctions.

Mr Johnson also delivers an explicit ultimatum to British companies, telling then to stop doing business with Iran or face "serious consequences" for your trade with America.

The comments are a direct challenge to Theresa May's Government coming days after a minister point-blank refused to go along with President Trump's sanctions on Tehran and keep the 2015 nuclear agreement alive.

They also come just six days after British foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt signed a joint statement with the EU which promised to push ahead with blocking the impact of the sanctions.

In his article Mr Johnson writes: “America is turning up the pressure and we want the UK by our side. It is time to move on from the flawed 2015 deal.

“We are asking global Britain to use its considerable diplomatic power and influence and join us as we lead a concerted global effort towards a genuinely comprehensive agreement.

“Together, we can help bring about the peace and prosperity in Iran that the whole world wants to see.”

UK continuing to find itself in between a rock and a hard place in the Game Of Appeasement.

Rudy's got a new argument about Trump talking to Comey. He's now saying he didn't even talk to him. There's a flaw or two in this one though ….
