If he's found guilty, he'll just have to pay a few million and be banned from running a charitable foundation.

The lawsuit, filed by the attorney general, Barbara Underwood, on the morning of Trump’s 72nd birthday, seeks $2.8m in restitution and penalties from Trump and asks for the distribution of $1m in assets to other charities.

But he will then be a proven criminal, he will have lost a case, etc. It'll be all over the news.

That won't mean anything to his supporters who think the system is against them anyway so any conviction is just part of the whole Deep State bollocks they love to bang on about.

I just don't think that will be enough to sink the guy, also this court case will take ages. He'll just say that it was all a liberal conspiracy and walk it off. It'd take actual jail time to dent the guy.

It'll be enough to impeach him on, should the House flip.

Would he be allowed to keep doing the job while in prison?
I'm sure Fox news would say he could but it's got to at least dent his TV time and given that's where he gets all his ideas I'm not sure it would work.

Apparently at the G7, Trump told them that it was ok for Russia to take Crimea because “everyone there speaks Russian”.

Even then not so much, he will be falsely imprisoned for speaking out against the leftist media.

It's getting to the point where the Putin influence is so obvious it's ridiculous. I guess they've done the metrics and realised that none of his base care that the president is essentially a Russian puppet. At some point, those Republicans who are facilitating this are going to have to pay the price.

Its not that they dont care its just that they have been conditioned to not believe the media, its all fake news and a witch hunt. Only Fox News tells the real story so as long as Fox spouts the propaganda he wont lose his popularity with his core supporters. It really is a classis dictator move, turn the people against the media so when the media report on what youre upto noone will believe them.

I am not sure we want the USA, it used to be nice but the Americans have absolutely ruined it. :dread:

Trump told Fox News earlier he hasn't ruled out pardoning the guy, and said it's terrible what is happening to him for something he may have done '12 years ago'.
