20 YEARS!!!?

What a joke of a legal system. How does a law that takes into consideration the teacher student relationship but not the age come into being, unless this sort of thing already happened before, in which case, Cal put it best...

Still stupid that she got any. They're legal adults and they made the decision to sleep with her.

Outrageous. She should be set free and given an apology that it ever got so far.

Unbelievable. Not that what she did wasn't wrong, but 5 years is just a bit excessive.

She should have lost her job and have been banned from teaching but not sent to jail. As has been said, they were all adults.

A total strawberry floating joke. Scumbag prosecutors out to 'make a point' about 'public morals'. Five years is an insult to reason. Yet another reminder, as if any were still needed, of how corrupt, how vile and how debased the US 'justice' system truly is.
