Station 19 S01E01, Thursdays in the US.

In Seattle, all firefighters are also trained EMTs and the crew at Station 19 is second to none. Working in 24-hour shifts, these professionals spend so much time together that they build relationships unlike any others.

Practically raised at the station, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) is a confident, badass firefighter who is also the daughter of Captain Pruitt (Miguel Sandoval), the formidable head of the firehouse. Captain Pruitt was Andy's primary inspiration to become a firefighter, and is a mentor to both Andy and Jack Gibson (Grey Damon), the lieutenant at Station 19. Passionate and energetic, Jack is fearless—just the kind of guy you want coming to your rescue. While Jack is fearless, Andy plays by the rules—but when these two are together, sparks fly and opposites attract.

Instinct S01E01, Sundays in the US.

Instinct stars Alan Cumming as a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer. Dr. Dylan Reinhart is a gifted author and university professor living a quiet life teaching psychopathic behavior to packed classes of adoring students. But when tenacious top NYPD detective Lizzie Needham appeals to him to help her catch a serial murderer who is using Dylan's first book as a tutorial, Dylan is compelled by the case and comes out of retirement. Helping them is Julian Cousins, Dylan's invaluable CIA comrade who rivals Dylan in brilliance and wit, and can get top-secret dirt on anyone, anywhere, anytime. Lizzie's boss, Lt. Jasmine Gooden, is glad to see her best detective finally agree to work with someone on a case, since Lizzie has refused any partner since a tragic event one year ago. But as Dylan feels reenergized tapping into his old skill set, his husband, Andy, is concerned that Dylan's breaking their pact about putting away his cloak and dagger for good. Though Dylan and Lizzie initially clash, when it comes to catching killers, they realize they will make an ideal team if they both trust their instincts. Based on the James Patterson novel.

Is it just me or does the use of those ultra dramatic horns and drums just get tiresome?

It's like they feel the need to make everything Defcon 1 and all it does is just diminish the impact.

Great news about Travellers as it's a fantastic series :toot: .

Splitting Up Together S01E01, Tuesdays in the US.

From executive producers Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Kapnek (Suburgatory), Jeff Kleeman (Little Big Shots) and Dean Holland (Parks and Recreation) comes Splitting Up Together, the story of Lena (Jenna Fischer, The Office) and Martin (Oliver Hudson, Scream Queens), whose marriage is reignited by their divorce.

Lena and Martin were once madly in love. But, like many marriages, time and circumstance eventually took their toll. Lena, the perfectionist, fell into the role of caretaker for everyone, including Martin. Martin felt he could never do anything right and gave up making the effort. This created a romantic rift between them. Finding themselves in a platonic marriage and acting more like a pair of camp counselors wrangling their kids than a couple hopelessly in love, they decide that everyone's lives would be better served if they got a divorce. Still wanting the best for their three kids and facing a daunting real estate market, the couple decide not to sell their house and to "Bird Nest" instead. One parent will live in the house as the "on-duty" parent taking care of the kids, while the "off-duty" parent will live in the detached garage, doing whatever he or she pleases. They will switch off every other week.

It's not USTV but I've started watching Gomorrah using a 2-week free trial of NowTV.
Five episodes in and this show is already a favourite. It's like the Italian Sopranos but more gritty and realistic. Cinematography and soundtrack are incredible too.
