The Hunted:

Surprised to see The Kings win given how little screen time they got. Can't believe her friend tried to give them up for $500!

The Wolves 8-) Although I was concerned that they might get caught when Lee ran out of energy at the side of the road during the final sprint for the plane.

Will definitely be watching the next season if it comes back. One of my favourite things to do is to make fun of the guy who runs the Command Centre through his very generic instructions and less than helpful basic advice.

"I want these fugitives caught TODAY, no stopping until they are in custody and no stopping for cheeseburgers."

Feud: Bette and Joan S01E01, Sundays in the US.

FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN, the first installment of the new FX anthology series from Ryan Murphy, tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Academy Award®-nominated thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, and well after the cameras stopped rolling. The series explores how the two women endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers.

Making History S01E01, Sundays in the US.

Produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (“The LEGO Movie,” “21 Jump Street”), and created and written by Julius “Goldy” Sharpe (FAMILY GUY, “The Grinder”), the new comedy MAKING HISTORY follows three friends from two different centuries as they try to balance the thrill of time travel with the mundane concerns of their present-day lives. It’s a rollicking historical adventure and a contemporary comedy about love, friendship and trying to fit in to an increasingly complex and impersonal world.

Time After Time S01E01, Sundays in the US.

Travel through centuries, decades and days with a young H.G. Wells in the time machine he created. Using creative elements from many of Wells's classic stories, Time After Time creates a fantasy world surrounding the events that inspired these great literary works. We look at the world of today through the eyes of yesterday while fully charged with danger and centered in thrills, satire, humor - and most of all - an epic love story.

Just finished watching it too :toot:

Survivor S34E01
Interesting start. I was really enjoying the Tony/Sandra rivalry, so gutted that Tony is gone already. He's the most entertaining and I wanted to see that spybunker finished.

I think the editing was quite bad as it turns out Tony voted for Aubry when we believed he had a group going for Sandra. It doesn't make sense.

It's really hard to pick a winner this early. I do think the ones not making big moves have no chance of winning. Sandra is already too much of a threat to win again, but I'd be impressed if she did get there.

Survivor
Absolutely crestfallen that Tony is gone this early, especially so as the season started off by booting my most disliked player, Ciera. And then it appeared that Tony and Sandra were going to work together and I got so excited, it could not have started off any better. Plenty of good moments, Ozzy diving to release the tool kit and Malcolm commenting mid-marooning that nobody is bothering to challenge him because it’s Ozzy. Sierra finding the advantage although I was kind of hoping it would be someone else. Ozzy’s reunion with Cirie and Tai trying to shit-stir. JT’s gut! Varner being useless as ever in challenges. Malcolm being awesome. Troyzan being Troyzan.

I'm going to rewatch this later on before casting my official winner pick but here are my initial impressions on the people I believe can win:

Mana Tribe

Sandra: This seems to be a deceptive tribe in that they seem like a divided mess but have managed to come together to almost unanimously eliminate the first two boots. Sandra quite obviously spearheaded the Tony boot but I’m not sure she is leading the tribe as a whole. It just isn’t her style. The teaser for next week revealed that there will be a tribe shuffle - I think this is actually a bad thing for Sandra. She appears to be in a good spot on her tribe.

Hali: Literally nothing to say about her other than that she appears to be well liked, isn’t making waves and is happy to be subservient to people for the time being. Basically the same as in Worlds Apart up until the point that she found herself on the wrong side of the numbers.

Malcolm: This guy is my leading winner pick. A lot of people this episode were shown to gravitate toward Malcolm and that is an incredible quality to have in Survivor but it’s also probably one of the worst as it’s very noticeable. There isn’t really a way for Malcolm to fly under the radar either. He displayed his challenge chops in the second immunity challenge and despite not wanting to vote out physical players he correctly went along as a number for the Tony vote.

Nuku Tribe

Brad: By far the most surprising on this list. Last time he played he was brash and too bossy. We didn’t see any of that this episode and he appeared to be letting the game come to him rather than driving the action, which for a Type A guy like Brad is a good idea. Have to see where this leads but for now it’s a positive step forward for him.

JT: JT is one of those players you could never discount. He won the second challenge for his tribe and kept his nerve despite Malcolm’s comeback. He addressed the fact that Tai is focusing too much on the chickens very well which socially would be a landmine for most players but not JT. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with next episode based on the teaser.

Sarah: For someone who had one of the roughest boot episodes in recent memory she had a decent episode. She wasn’t on the screen that much but considering she’s battling for time with Cirie, Ozzy, JT and recent fan favourites Tai and Zeke, it was a good episode for her. She’s shown building bonds with Brad and potentially Ozzy whilst recognising that she’ll cut Cirie if she needs to. I’ve got this feeling that conversation they had at the water well will be important at some point.

With the edit they have to make it at least seem like there is a chance that the person that does end up going home escapes. Very occasionally you get this kind of episode where the editors have to do the best they can to maintain some suspense even though there is probably less than a 1% chance of that person, Tony in this case, sticking around. Very often with these double episode premieres they will split the time at each camp evenly but it seemed like the Mana tribe got like 65-70% of the camp apportioned screen time. Now that's either because a lot of these people aren't sticking around for long so there's a need to tell their stories now, or because the winner has to navigate through this tribe. Right now I’m leaning toward the former.

Trial & Error S01E01, Tuesdays in the US.

In the spirit of true crime documentaries, this outrageous fish-out-of-water comedy centers on bright-eyed New York lawyer Josh Segal (Nicholas D'Agosto), who heads to a tiny Southern town for his first big case. His mission? To defend an eccentric "rollercizing" poetry professor (John Lithgow) accused of the bizarre murder of his beloved wife. Settling into his makeshift office behind a taxidermy shop and meeting his quirky team of local misfits, Josh suspects that winning his first big case will not be easy, especially when his client is always making himself look guilty.
