I'm Dying Up Here S01E01, Sundays in the US.

I’M DYING UP HERE explores the struggles of “making it big” in the 1970’s L.A. comedy scene. Every night, a group of up-and-coming comedians wait to perform at Goldie’s, the hottest stand-up club in town. But first they’ll have to win over Goldie, who rules the Sunset Strip with an iron fist. Stand-up is a drug for these comedians, and they’re willing to sacrifice everything to get their fix. They brave the pain of sharing their innermost thoughts and darkest secrets, hoping that someone, anyone, will laugh. Executive produced by Jim Carrey.

Blood Drive S01E01, Wednesdays in the US.

Los Angeles 1999 - The Future: where water is a scarce as oil, and climate change keeps the temperature at a cool 115 in the shade. It’s a place where crime is so rampant that only the worst violence is punished, and where Arthur Bailey — the city’s last good cop — runs afoul of the dirtiest and meanest underground car rally in the world, Blood Drive. The master of ceremonies is a vaudevillian nightmare, The drivers are homicidal deviants, and the cars run on human blood. Buckle Up, Lube Up and prepare for everything you know about Cable Television to Blow up!

Claws S01E01, Sundays in the US.

Claws is a midnight-dark, wickedly funny meditation on female badness set in a South Florida nail salon. It follows the rise of five diverse and treacherous manicurists working at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County salon, where there is a lot more going on than silk wraps and pedicures. Claws is about good women caught in bad places with worse men. It's the story of hardworking women trying to get by in this economy, set against the surreal, bright, gritty landscape of Florida and the luscious, absurd, extreme excesses of the crime world.

Just watched the pilot of Designated Survivor.

Decent. I'll continue with it for now.

Surely 'Salem's Lot was more due a remake than The Mist?

Adam West's Powerless episode is on Youtube.

He's in it for about 2 minutes and the entire episode is pretty bland. Not a convincing case for it not to be cancelled.

Wow that came out of nowhere. I'm not convinced we need a Watchmen adaptation but I'll always watch a Damon Lindelof show.

If it's a maxi series it has a better (better = staying more true to source) chance of working than the film did. The longer it is the better. lol.
