Thanks Monkey Man. I can't help but feel the "Last TV show you watched" thread was a mistake, took a lot of traffic out of here.

Appreciate the weekly updates Monkey Man, always found it useful.

I've higher expectations for the live action One Piece than is reasonable for such a challenging adaption. It might achieve the impossible and actually be watchable.

Also tempted to rewatch the first few story arcs of the anime before starting it but that might make me less likely to enjoy the Netflix version.

What also took a lot of traffic from here was the lack of decent shows after the golden age.

That too. 2007-2016 or so off the top of my head? The second golden age of television was basically the Obama administration.

Arguments can be made to say it started earlier. The Sopranos, Wire and Shield all started before 2007. Arrested Development too off the top of my head.

Have you read how Tom King accidentally made Kite Man (!) a meme? It's a fun story.

Probably the best place for this, but I watched the first two episodes of new Frasier and I didn't hate it.

Nicholas Lyndhurst is strawberry floating great in it, but I'm still waiting on the other characters to grow on me.
I'm not sure how I'm going to get on with the guy playing Freddy though. He's a bit too sit-comy in the wrong way.
The same with the waitress neighbour but she's not quite as bad.

Definitely inverting some of the themes from the original series as well which is fun.
Grammar himself feels like he's never been away.

Currently I demand that Lillith make regular appearances. She's my favourite character from both Cheers and Frasier and it will be odd if she doesn't appear.
Also being in Boston again makes it real easy for Cheers regulars to pop up too. But I hope they hold off on the cameos for a bit. Let it find it's feet first.

The last episode of Archer last week wasn't quite the end after all (and really didn’t feel climatic)

At NY Comic Con, they announced a 3-episode special airing on 17 December, named Archer: Into the Cold.

Lillith and Ros are both appearing at some point in season 1.
