yndhurst will play Alan Cornwall, described as “Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor. British, boozy and larger than life, Alan has an intellect on par with Frasier’s—if only he ever felt like using it. Alan’s mischievous streak might be just what Frasier could use to shake up his routine, while Frasier’s thoughtful guidance might help Alan find some of the direction he’s been missing in his own life.”

Or Jane Leeves. I can imagine them dropping in for a cameo though if it goes beyond season 1.

The last of us. I enjoyed it but could pedro not have at least tried to sound texan. I dont like how they rushed and changed the robert stuff,i wanted to see joel break his arm and tess shoot him in the face.

Ellie was great but i still believe she is the wrong choice. I wonder if all episodes will be that long.

Lots of stuff to love though.

Tomb Raider TV series in the works, apparently (to join the film, cartoon and games):

Phoebe Waller-Bridge Prepping ‘Tomb Raider’ TV Series for Amazon (Exclusive)

Sources say the 'Fleabag' Emmy winner will pen the script for the project, which is the latest to stem from her recently renewed overall deal with the streamer.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is getting into action at Amazon.

The Emmy-winning Fleabag grad is readying a TV series based on the popular video game turned action movie Tomb Raider. The project, which is in the development stages, is the latest to stem from Waller-Bridge’s recently renewed overall deal with the retail giant and streamer.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Waller-Bridge is attached to write the scripts for Tomb Raider. Waller-Bridge does not plan to star in the TV adaptation of the property, which spawned 2001 and 2018 film adaptations starring Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, respectively, as the adventurous archaeologist.

In addition to writing, Waller-Bridge will exec produce the Amazon take alongside former head of comedy and drama Ryan Andolina and former head of overall deals Amanda Greenblatt. Andolina and Greenblatt launched their own production company and have a deal with Amazon. Dmitri M. Johnson will also exec produce via his dj2 company.
