Not to mention the quick switch between games - I've currently got FM24 on the go and it's just a quick button press to jump to PES6 on EmulationStation. Truly living the best of lives

How does PES6 hold up these days?
Without a hint of irony, it's the high watermark for football games. Absolute perfection.
Have you tried the native PC version? There are fan groups, especially in South America, who update it with new squads all the time. I wonder how it runs under proton?

Wingspan would be my go to digital board game. Haven't played it a lot on the Steam Deck but I'm pretty sure it runs fine and can be played as a pass and play game.
If anyone streams Game Pass games via Green Light or Microsoft’s way using the Edge browser I highly recommend Xbplay. Costs £4.99 but so much better than either of the other methods, clarity options to make it look like it’s running natively rather than the washed out look you get streaming and you can also remote play your Xbox too.

There's currently a Humble Bundle you might want to check out. Includes Gloomhaven, Carcassonne, Small World and many more. Can't say how well they run on Deck or how good the digital editions are but they are great board games so might be worth a look for you.
I'm pretty amazed at how well Switch emulation works on this after I tried PGR2 on Xemu and had a straight up bad time. I guess Xemu is still pretty experimental but Yuzu seems to be fully figured out man!
I just love how the steam deck pretty much lets me take the entire history of gaming on the go between emulation and the steam library itself I love this bloody thing

I haven't but that sounds cool, although I'm quite happy with the base version to be honest.
