‘Pushed out’?!? Pipe down bro, take a day off.
What’s the quality of the writing like in this game? Because graphically - well, the ‘ppl graxix’ look bland as gooseberry fool.

Tempted to have a play of RM purely on the strength of this statement. Don't let me down, OR.

Remember Me wishes it ever reached half the creativity of Ghost Trick.

I reeeeeally need to finish that. I started it whilst travelling on, of all things, an iPod touch. I still have it, and my savegame, somewhere.

Fuckscles

Didn’t make it clear a mission had a point of no way back and now I’ve limited my options.

Maybe I' m just not in the mood but I'm struggling with this now. The combat really is insufferable. The world is fine and all, but I'm finding the main character dull as dishwater and it's not really giving me much reason to continue.

Boss at (presumably) end of Chapter 5 is getting on my nerves and making me want to bite someone.

10 levels higher and the killer part - each fight uses your bullets (so hard to replace) and serums. It feels really punishing, particularly giving how hard bullets are to come back

Hospital - Sanitised

Docks - Critical (bad choice at end of Chapter 3)

Whitechapel - Healthy

West End - Healthy (Events of chapter still to effect)

And done.

Solid 7/10. The action sections are the weakest (and mostly avoidable if you just run/ghost through) but you still have to do enough of them to be a drag. I never really changed my combat approach from the start, and even without leveling up much didn't feel I need to.

Did a no Kill Run (and it worked - although I thought a couple of choices might have stuffed me) - and never really felt under powered...apart from 2 boss fights. I barely unlocked any of the Vampyr abilities, and I dread to think how OP you'd be if you did. I think there'd be a much stronger game here if combat was gone/much reduced. Combat becomes a chore towards the end (even with fully upgraded weapons, things are bullet sponges if you're underleveled) but never to the point where you felt overly pressed to kill someone. Most boss fights can be won by "dodge dodge stab stab retreat" repeated for as long as necessary (if you've got blood drain weapon and self heal :P) I didn't find many weapons (5-8 of each type) but looking online lots of those comes from people you kill :P

The lack of ammo/craftables is annoying. Doubly so when if you use them in a boss fight, you don't respawn with them. I have a really powerful shotgun, that I can basically use in one boss attempt. Farming/trying to buy replacement bullets would be too time consuming. (Oddly enough if you die to last boss on first attempts it respawns you by the boss, if you go away to level up/gear up, it'll respawn you a 30 second walk away on later attempts...annoying)

Without killing people it's hard to see effect of actions (and you can't get all hints...except if you're rich), so only ~5 choices turn up mattering, and those are badly highlighted or the choices indicated before selecting.
There's nice stories in here between characters, but I pretty much always felt I was listening to stories, rather than influence. There were few consequences that I saw. And there was never a side story/quest moment where I went "Oh it's back to them? Glad I kept them alive"..

It also suffers that each of it's 4 areas are largely contained - and repeat the same exercise in explore, talk, heal, talk more. More interaction between the zones would have been great (but is probably very hard to do when zones can "fall")

The main story has some interesting beats, and the epilogue chapter makes a fair bit of sense given what was foreshadowed, but also explains a lot you couldn't have guessed. A few concepts could have been better explored. (And that chuffin love interest comes from no where)

I'm tempted to do a rampage run - mostly to see if there's more consequences...but I think once through might have been enough (although a second power up run would be much quicker potentially)
