Bad news: Apparently the PC version of the GotY bundle is delayed until September. Not big surprise considering the treatment Rocksteady and Warner Bros has given the platform with this game, but ho hum.

Worse news: Apparently the GotY release outside North America is also delayed until September, so me complaining about the PC version being delayed is a bit academic. Hopefully they'd spend the time to hire an artist who isn't blind and/or clinically insane.

I didn't think I had it in me this time after AA but I finally finished off collecting the last Riddler trophy and solved the last riddle, yesterday. :x

Now to quickly grab the last of Cat Woman's trophies and then on to NG+. :D

That G4TV quote is absolutely astonishing. Hyped up games reviewers at their worst.

I came in here thinking jokingly that "I bet the PC version will be hilariously delayed", and I was proven right...

To be fair, since the European launch is also hilariously delayed, it's a bit academic.

That would actually be a good cover if it wasn't for the excessive text. Don't think it's too bad even with it though

That's especially true when you reach the level cap. Why would I want to fight a bunch of bad guys that I get absolutely nothing from?

I haven't bought this yet. If i've got time to play it I might import the US edition or wait for the Euro release (which maybe says Batman on the cover!)

Finally started this three days ago, and so far I'm really liking it despite I do prefer Asylum more for some reason. Still, I'm having alot of fun so far and it was really interesting to see other super villains that's not in Arkham Asylum. Some of riddle puzzles make me confused so I've pretty much just marked them and leave them for another time :shifty:

Also regarding one of bosses:

Freeze-Man - I was expecting him to be difficult boss in sense of not fun after reading few comments on here about him but um... he was pretty easy. Got it on first try once I realised what I had to do to take down his health.

Now I'm stuck on sidequest as I want to get it done before doing mainquest; which is
find and rescue Freeze-Man's wife. The problem is I can't find her and thugs are pissing me off. Maybe I should do full cleanout before exploring around to find her.

Even though I like Asylum better I'm glad it's not Asylum 2 in sense; it's basically two different Batman games with different feeling meaning two truly brilliant Batman games to play

So is that the actual cover? If so, what the hell?! :fp:

The title is actually the smallest text on there :fp:

I'm really finding it hard to get back into this. I got it on release and played over the first few days, I'm on the fight with Freeze now but haven't felt the urge to touch it since. I just feel like the game is a bit too scattered. Definitely preferring Asylum at the moment.

I was the same then suddenly it just clicked. Definitely worth sticking with.

Best advice I can give is to concentrate on the main story and the main story only. There's way too many things in the second game that can distract you and that's when the gameplay experience becomes a little fragmented.

If you want to do the side quests and Riddler trophies you can always do them after you complete the main game as it puts you back in the city afterwards.

The Mr Freeze bit is where the game stalls, even if that boss fight is quite interesting. But it picks up again soon after that.

Tiny bit of new footage from the DLC here on new GTTV

Can't wait for this, more Batman single player stuff is fantastic. Plus, it'll be interesting playing as Robin (outside of the challenge rooms)

I'm just sticking to the main story, I think my problem is that i'm gooseberry fool at it. There's so many gadgets and ways to attack an enemy that I just end up laying down loads of explosive gel and batclawing my way to ledges I didn't even want to be on.

Just don't mash buttons and be calm when fighting enemies. Later on you get something that allows you to disable enemy's gun up to two people, and use X timely along stick flicks to move from one enemy to another. Use Y as counter whenever you can. Don't bother going for quick takedowns especially if enemy is still near; only use them if you manage to knock them out stealthly. Quick gadgets are kinda useless, but if used right they can be lifesaver.

It seems more combat-heavy than Asylum especially you can get outnumbered more easily than Asylum, but it's worth sticking with it and sooner or later you'll get past normal battles with ease.
