Same. I'm doing all the side missions now that I've finished the main story. Really not enjoying the combat as much now that every Tom, Dick and Harry has a rifle :|

It's objectively a better game than the first one.

Nah! It just isn't as fun and cohesive as the far superior original.

Finished the main campaign last night, really enjoyed the voice acting in this, top stuff :)

However, now I've started polishing off the side-missions, I can't seem to get far on the Identity Theft Side Mission. I can see the blood, I've spoken to the witness, but what now???

If my memory serves me well, you'll have to play a bit longer until the side mission appears on the map or it will appear on the map when you're nearer to it.

After the original incident none of the Identity Thief missions appeared on my map, I just stumbled across all of them. From memory, they're all in alleyways around Ace Chemical.

City is vastly more fun. Asylum, while good, just didn't feel much like Batman. Batman doesn't spend all his time running down corridors, Batman glides. Whenever I could in Asylum I jumped off something high and glided as long as possible.

I'm finding the city to be incredibly dull tbh. It holds no character to me and has become a series of rooftops and grapple points. Once you get into certain buildings it improves but the actual trasit between these locations bores me. The Island in Arkham Asylum with it's assorted prison wings and buildings were full of character and felt more cohesive to me. Arkham City just seems to be a bit of a mess.

Finished.
Joker cannot be dead. But... :(! Seems that an mortal enemy is much better than your lover. As Batman carries Joker's body out of the city gates rather than Talia.

Just the side quests and riddle trophies to go. Still think Arkham Asylum is the better game overall.

Most of the Arkham City thugs wouldn't know who Talia is but they all know Joker. It's a statement.

Noticed last night that if you leave the title screen for ages it shows batman beating someone up. Brilliant.

Getting stuck into the combat challenge rooms now - need those 3 medal ratings...

A statement of what? He's gay for the Joker?

It does not make sense. It took Alfred to refuse Batman access to the location of Talia because Hugo Strange's Protocol 10 was going on and everyone is going to die. Sure, Alfred was right as thousands are more than one but the fact is that Batman wants to save Talia more than the thugs of Arkham city.

It's just a strange thing to do. I just feel that Batman has to take the Joker out to say that The Joker is actually dead and WILL not be returning to the Arkham games at all. That, is just a game story development, and is a bit out of character.

The Batman I know would take Talia.

IMO.

I've finished pretty much everything else in the main game and only now is the identity killer thing moving on, then that'll be all side-missions done. I guess it is location-based...

I bet he does come back and he just pretended to be dead so Batman sneaks him out of the Arkham.

I'm sure Batman would scan him to make sure. But then he did got fooled the first time around.

More spoilers.

The best moment in the game I thought is The Mad Hatter sequence. Reminds me of AA's Scarecrow sequences. Also I thought the use of Clayface as a decoy is a moment of genius.

PostRe: Batman: Arkham City - Free skin + return of the cheat co
by Saint of Killers » Tue Dec 20, 2011 10:31 am

Rocksteady releases Batman: Arkham City Batman Inc. Batsuit skin for free

Reveals cheat code to use it without completing the game.

Rocksteady will tomorrow release a new skin for Batman: Arkham City free of charge.

The Batman Inc. Batsuit skin launches on Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Marketplace tomorrow and you can download it for zero pence.

It's a thank you from Rocksteady to the fans, game director Sefton Hill wrote on the Batman: Arkham City website.

"We have had an amazing release of Batman: Arkham City and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support before, during and after the game's release," he said.

Rocksteady has also revealed a cheat code which enables you to play using any alternate skin without having to complete the full game.

The code is: Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.

Input the code on the main menu screen, after you have selected your save slot. You get audio confirmation after you successfully input the code, and when you continue your game you will get the option to select your favourite skin.

I might actually load this up now just so I can enter an *actual* cheat code (not the most exciting of cheat codes I know but beggars can't be choosers and all that).

Glad I'm not the only one, my thoughts exactly. Didn't even finish it although I was near the end. Much preferred AA.
