Thanks :) I'm working on a portrait style thing of Samus Aran at the minute, so hopefully I will finish that tomorrow and post it up here. :D

Im currently working on a picture of Bryan Fury form Tekken 6. So far so good, just need to add colour and I will try and get it posted on here.
Not sure how it will hold up against some of these masterpieces though. :|

Finished my drawing today, decided not to add colour as the pencils I have are shite. :|
I will post it on at a later date, once it's scanned onto the pc. (probably tonight) ;)

Right, here is my latest piece of videogame fan art. It's a Halo Recon soldier from Halo 3 ODST in a kind of Desert Oasis setting. Hope you like :)

What do you mean your last? You're retiring from the world of art?! I want more! Your style is great.

EDIT - Misread "latest" as "last". :P

Thanks very much, I'm glad you like it, these drawings do take a little while to complete but I managed to finish another Halo inspired piece today, it's the UNSC Hawk or "Sparrowhawk" from Halo Wars. I call this picture 'Desert Strike' :D

Nice. Must have a lot of patience (probably not the right word) to do something like that. The amount of detail it requires like.

Anyways, where's Megaman.

You've got yourself some skills TornadoShaun
Get yourself a wacom tablet and photoshop and you'll go far ;)

Tablets are so awkward though. I have a Wacom that I never use because it just can't beat the feeling of real pen on real paper.

It takes a little getting used to, but if you put in the time it'll pay off. Probably 99% of video game concept art is done on a tablet.
Line art is definitely harder to do on a tablet, but there's no reason why you cant do that in pencil then scan it in.

I wouldn't mind getting a wacom tablet at some point. I have Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2010 on my Laptop which seems like a good programme but obviously using it with a mouse is pretty naff... I'll probably keep my eyes open for when the intuos4 medium goes down in price a bit.

What I'd really like to do is get into a games company and learn from them for a little while as I'd love to do concept art in the games industry as a profession, but I'm not qualified, nor do I have the relevant experience :fp:

Wow some of these are amazing! I'm really interested in getting into the autodesk stuff, but I see there is a huge price range for tablets, is it a case of you get what you pay for? Or are there some quality cheaper ones out there?
