He was doing a professional live interview with the BBC of all people which was being broadcast to millions of people.

That wasn't an inhuman reaction, he tried to react in the most professional way possible.

Also, the way the kid strolls in shows his kids like him, because that doesn't look like a kid who's scared of their parents reactions.
