The furthest North I've been is Nottingham (I went for a 90 minute MRI brain scan for a study and a lovely day out) and any further North and I'm sure it's filled with zombies and Dragons.
I don't live in London I live in Bedfordshire and we have a bunch of new trains on the London to Peterborough line.

I actually really want HS3 to get the go-ahead over Crossrail 2 if it helps as I think it offers better value for money.

My local line is almost finished getting Themeslink 2000, it's only 18 years late so pretty much bang on time for the trains.
The real question is what will happen first, HS3 or a manned colony on Mars?
