Yes, as the speakers aren't powered you'll need an amplifier. The go to starter amp appears to be the Marantz PM6005 link - with that amp you wouldn't need the Fono Mini. But if you're planning on dropping £600 on the speakers, then you might want to go higher end.

Just for your information:

Turntable --> Phono Pre Amp --> Intergrated Amplifier --> Speakers

The need for the phono pre amp is to increase the signal from the turntable as it's lower then line level (e.g. CD players). The PM6005 doesn't need this as it has a built in phono input.
