I wonder if it's a glorified Wii Port or if it'll be hitting XBL. Would have prefered an original next generation entry.

Will there be a dedicated joystick for this game? MCN would freak out.

So wha's the jist?

Is the game they are releasing a good addition to the Viruta On Family? 1200, is this justified? Have to say this could be great fun on XBLA

SEGA is to convert its cult, twin-stick arcade mech fighter Virtual On Oratorio Tangram to Xbox Live Arcade, according to Japanese games bible Famitsu.

The Japanese magazine's report was spotted by Kotaku. The game will release in Japan in April for 1200 Microsoft Points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40).

The specific version will be Cyber Troopers Virtual On Oratorio Tangram version 5.66, the final incarnation of the NAOMI arcade board that was converted for the Dreamcast. Virtual On hasn't seen a console release since 2003's Marz for the PS2.

It may not be the only Dreamcast game that SEGA looks to revive in this way. Late last year, Siliconera reported that the company had re-registered the trademark for its puzzler ChuChu Rocket as well as Sonic Shuffle, Cosmic Smash and Jet Grind Radio (the Japanese name for the superb graffiti-on-roller-skates adventure Jet Set Radio).

Of course, Rez has already made its way to Xbox Live Arcade, along with Namco's classic NAOMI beat-'em-up Soul Calibur.

Why not speculate on other Dreamcast favourites that might get a second, downloadable chance by heading over to our surprisingly popular round-up of Dreamcast Cult Classics.

Sega, you will be gods amongst men if this happens now. If Virtua On can make, this are certs, surely?

XBLA probably means there won't be a twinstick for it though :(

Great news, but trying to play this without the twin joysticks... you might as well forget it. I hope they bring one out or at least make the controls more pad friendly.

Will be easier to play on the twin stick standard 360 pad than the Saturn pad.

100 times THIS!

If the rumoured Chu-Chu Rocket comes out, then SEGA get all my love back.

The DC has a great back catalogue of games that would be amazing on 360. Many of them will also make great co-op XBLA games too. Zombie Revenge would be great! :P

It's a fantastic game.

I'd love to see the arcade version of Virtua Fighter 2 and Phantasy Star Online appear on XBLA.
