It's been going for a few days now.
Camera angle could change, as could visibility because of smoke and wind direction, but right now it's looking pretty damn cool. Well, not exactly cool since it's molten rock and all. You know what I mean.

I don't know. Just think it's neat that this phenomenon is happening right now only 32km from where I'm sitting right now.
