I often wonder if you realise that it's partly because of your lack of understanding about this and other aspects of accepted social norms, that you often have problems getting on with and relating to other people.

Well, suicide IS a social norm in Japan.

Have to wonder what could drive a man in his position to suicide. If his work was stressting he's always got options unlike a lot of people. I wonder what was going on in his personal life, had he been through some kind of break up or suffered a berievement?

Who the strawberry float are you to judge what sort of man he was? For someone to think that suicide is the only option - they have to be a in a pretty strawberry floated up place - where they are not thinking clearly about the consequences for the people they leave behind. To call him a 'piece of gooseberry fool' is ignorant and grossly insulting. Take your crass comments elsewhere, you strawberry floating oaf!

My Uncle committed suicide. However selfish I thought he was for doing it, I don't think he was a piece of gooseberry fool for doing what he did.

You can't even to begin to understand what these people are thinking, so calling them a piece of gooseberry fool is a load of bollocks, sorry.

I'd prefer to re-educate people than ban them.

Was he not talking about him in general and not because of the suicide?

I hate the news sometimes.

Tragic Death, always had a lot of respect for Gary Speed, came across as a true gentleman of the game and a genuinely good bloke. Was a cracking footballer too and looked to have a great future ahead as a coach. So sad that he must have been suffering so much and just goes to show that being well-off and successful isn't necessarily everything. Rest in Peace.
