Being a huge Pixar fan, I've been looking forward to seeing this for ages. But do I buy the DVD or see it in the cinema? Vue, brilliantly, have brought Wall-E back for one showing every day this week.

Do I go for the cinema experience or buy the DVD so I have in my collection?

Cinema. It's the kind of film that benefits a big screen viewing. It looks astonishing.

Definitely the cinema. The only good thing about the film is the way it looks, so best to make the most of that, the credits are pretty good too actually, so stay for them. x

DVD, but sit really close to the screen with the lights off and sound up.

Go & see it then wait until its cheap on dvd/blu ray (whichever you prefer) & buy it

I never saw it in the cinema. Might watch it though, since it's back at Vue.

So do both. It's worth owning.

A lot of people would agree. Well, if you only count big, proper, mainstream, popular films. The kind of thing you could see in 500-odd cinemas in this country and 3,000 in America.

I think that just about protects me from any film buffs ready to give examples of obscure arty films that were far superior to Pixar's latest.

Just check metacritic if you're not convinced how highly rated Wall-E is.
