Tempted to pick this up, never did finish III or Frozen Throne.

The wife used to play the original. Always liked the look of it, but never played it myself.

I loved playing this, and the frozen throne expansion, when it first came out. Excited to see what a remastered version looks like. I went back to replay the original edition a few years ago, and it hasn't aged well graphically.

It felt odd, though, playing this now that mobas are an established genre of their own, as although this is definitely an rts, all the foundations are there, and you can really see where a WC3 mod birthed the current generation of moba games. It really just served to highlight how the focus in this hand shifted to hero combat, rather than base building as a key feature.
