But you have no qualms with spending £100 on a copy of GTA IV.

It was £60 :(

EDIT - strawberry float me. I really do waste money. Starting from this months pay day, I'm going to save as much as I can. Keep a record of how much I spend and try to spend less each month. Because currently, I spend money like a retard.

No, because he never considers the money to be wasted, so he wouldn't post.

Over the summer I've had to cut back on nights out, I've reverted to getting the lads round to chip in for a crate and play Tekken most nights. Friday nights are the only time I seem to go out at the moment :(

I often waste my money. :(

I've spent £70 on games alone this Monday. :fp: When I have about 5 games to complete. But since I'm unemployment, I'm going to stop spending my money on games/beer until I get a job.

... I'll fail in few weeks.

And I'm about to head off for college in a few weeks time, I'm going to be a cool guy though, and decline invitations to go out. 8-)

I remember I had £5 a week as my pocket money back then...instead of saving up though, I would of spend all of it on sweets/drinks.

Look what it has happened to me today. :fp: I've cut down spending on food/drinks though, only buy when necessary. Just need to learn to cut down buying games as well on beer whenever I'm at pubs with mates. :(

I droped £165 on some Quiksilver glasses last friday, picking them up this friday.

I've always wanted some "Decent" glasses (Never spent more than £75), and they look quite funky, which should be helpful when I start college in september (Fingers crossed).

And god knows how much on booze and cheese this month.

I tend to stop myself from buying things at the last second, literally.

I've wasted so much money on useless crap over the years that I don't like purchasing even the smallest of things.

I don't think I waste my money, but I can get a bit silly at times. I recently bought a few PS1 games, some Microsoft Points and 2 360 games. They were all fairly cheap, but I didn't need to buy all of them in such quick succession. It was a little while after getting all of that I then really wanted to save up for a PS3. So it's going to take a bit longer then. :(

Not if you want them mate.
If you were buying them on a whim then it'd be a waste.

They look pretty nice. But if there's one thing I've learnt about glasses is that it's really, really best if you see and feel them in person.
All too often glasses will look nice online, but feel horrible and look awful in the flesh.

Not so much wasting money, but I'm married with 2 kids, so I don't really have to worry about wasting my cash, as I have three people to do that for me.

I borrowed Gears of War but at the time I was blinded by everyone telling me it was good. What a stupid strawberry floating idea that turned out to be.

Fixed for me. x

I don't really waste money, but I usually end up buying things online that I could probably go without - namely t-shirts and DVD's.
