Booze and cheese?

Yup, apart from my drinking habit which is quite heavy on the wallet.
I'm also a cheese fiend. :D

I cannot resist buying big blocks of nice cheeses. And a 500g gram slab of Gorgonzola isn't a cheap thing.
But with this, you've then got to get enough sliced meats (Usually chorizo, serrano ham ETC), olives, marinated artichokes, Tomato & Mushroom Antipasto.

It all adds up :D

What CD?

It was weird - I searched for it on eBay like I used to now and again, and not only was one there (still the only one I've ever seen) but there were only 2 minutes to go. It was at $3XX...I had a decision to make. With 30 seconds to go I went for $400. It went up to $395 in the last 2 seconds, so somebody was seriously pissed off not to win it. Then I was kind of excited/depressed for the rest of the night at what I'd spent.

Still sealed, mint condition, it will fetch an even prettier penny one day. And it's infintely better than the recent shite they've put out.

I don't buy into this whole drinking being a waste of money business. I get this off people all the time, if I'm having fun then to me it isn't a waste of money. Going out and getting drunk is where i get most of my enjoyment from, so that's where my money will go.

Unfortunately, due to voluntarily stepping down from my current role in work to a lesser paid role, I now REALLY have to keep a very, very close eye on the cash. And with my wedding due for next June, and energy prices on the up, I've got my work cut out for me as I try not to waste any money at all (easier said than done sometimes!).

But I've definitely wasted cash in the past (especially when I was a student), buying things like a Japanese copy of Metal Gear Solid on the PS1, with zero chance of understanding any of it! I even bought a second TV so I could play my import games in colour through the RGB scart cable

And I went through a fair whack of cash when I worked for GAME and Gamestation buying a crap load of games on teh cheap, just because they were cheap! (Many of which went unplayed and were traded back in! :fp:)

Well, most everything they've done since 2000 is a load of balls, but their first 3 albums, yeah.

Despite what the Wikipedia article says, it's always been viewed as MSI's debut album.

You could quite easily look into wasting money as having absolutely nothing to show for it after spending it (obviously discounting the essentials such as food etc.) but to be honest I figure as long as I've had fun with what I've spent my money on then its all good. Most of my money goes on trips out (meals, nights out, random things etc.) and I rarely have anything to show for it but a lot of fun memories and its all worthwhile :D

This, during my 2nd year at Uni:

I had precious little money as it was, and then I dropped £80 on this stinker. It was fun for 5 minutes. After that I couldn't even look at it. Still got it though.

£60 (With a £20 gift voucher) for Secret of Mana from Gamestation. It wasn't in brilliant condition and didn't even come with the map!

I just sold it recently for £25 :fp:

I also recently got a Wii arcade stick from Amazon. I played with it for fifteen minutes and realized that I prefer dpads anyway  I'll be trying to send it back to them for a refund very soon.

Once i bought a HDMI cable for my 360. Turns out it was the wrong cable, and since i had opened it, i couldn't get a refund (this is at GAME by the way).

That set me back £12.99.
Then i had to spend some more on getting the right cable, which was more than £12.99.
