Do you ever unlock the drone at any point in the story, like you do the RC car, or is the only option to buy it? It's pretty strawberry floating expensive if so.

It's option to buy and I'd recommend to buy it as soon as you can. It's very helpful and you could upgrade one of your skills to hack public's phones to get some more money. The last time I played and I got like over 500k in my bank.

I'm trying to avoid stealing from people like that. It seems odd that a group of strawberry float the system hackers would decide to raise funds by stealing from the everyman. I guess I'll just have to get on with the Uber/taxi missions.

Is there supposed to be a separate key for the Zodiac mission? I pre-ordered the game on PC a while back but only have the one key.

That's a good point. I've definitely got the content, as the zodiac killer cosmetic items are available in the in game wardrobe, but I've come across nothing that looks like a way to start the mission.

You probably have to get a certain way into the story. How many keys did you have?

Only the one key, but it was for the deluxe edition, so not sure if that makes a difference.

Oh cool I've got the deluxe edition as well, I must have the DLC then.

You have to be online to access any DLC content. I fired the game up the other day whilst not connected to the internet, and because I'd previously kitted Marcus out in some punk DLC trousers, it just loaded up with him in his underwear instead, standing right outside the New Dawn temple.

Well this is starting to get pretty difficult; i've tried to do a side mission where you have to break someone out of alcatraz over and over and always get seen and inevitably killed no matter how stealthily or aggressive i go. Same with the main missions; break into these huge buildings full of armed dudes, lasers and traps and you have to get marcus in there himself. Any detection and the entire building comes after you and its back to square one. I've never been good at stealth games and this is no exception.

if you use the hack that makes guards look at their phones they wont see you even if you are right next to them.

jawafour, a while ago whilst trying to work out what the season pass included, wrote:I've been having a look at the season pass... not because I'm going to buy it (even I baulked at the content-to-cash ratio on this one) but because a load of DLC has appeared which doesn't seem to be included as a part of the pass....

I just saw a load more outfit DLC on the Store and wondered again about if it was included in the season pass so I did some digging:

Ubisoft wrote:...5. Are all the additional content packs included in the Season Pass?

The Watch_Dogs 2 Season Pass comes with a lot of content, including (blah, blah, blah).

Any player can buy customization packs, regardless of whether they bought a Season Pass or not. Also, for players who would like to get all the additional customization packs, we will be releasing bundles that will allow anyone to acquire multiple packs at once with a steep discount...

Source.

So, no, they're not included. Thinking about this, for a digital customer at launch, you could buy the game for fifty-five quid, then the season pass for thirty-quid and you *still* wouldn't get all of the content. Amazing.

I'm over the difficulty spike after rethinking tactics. Wow, this has to have the least enticing season pass i've ever seen and thats saying something for a ubisoft game.

Just started in this, so far it's pretty dull but been messing around and not doing missions. Any tips on which upgrades to go for first? Or general advice as to good places to start.

Wish my image sig would work

All depends on how you like to play really.

I sold this for £19 from CEX today.

I could keep for the DLC contents, but I ain't waiting that long and the season pass is £30. No way I'm paying for the price and I decided to sell it.

So, I look forward to Watch Dogs 3 in the future.

Taking over control of other vehicles is a laugh. I'd say all tech / hack /gadget related skills and upgrades should take priority over skills you learn, or have in any old tps. Yeah, gunplay has a role in this, but it's the least entertaining way to play.
Apologies for not being specific re what to go for.

Shame. I'm keeping it because I want to platinum it one day, and I'm sure the pass will be on sale eventually. And it's one of those games you can play over again with a completely different playstyle.

Yeah I could keep it but I have Platinum'ed it though. And too many games are coming out in 2017 and I may not return to this.

The planned DLC looks pretty gooseberry fool, to be fair.

I've reached a point in the story that feels really week. It's gone full GTA clone and all the main missions are to do with gangs and heists and drug/gun shipments. I thought I was supposed to be some dank meme hacker. I've put the story on the back burner and torn through a load of side missions, which are much better. Completed the graffiti one, after climbing all the way to the top of the Golden Gate bridge, and promptly threw myself off the top.
