I cant seen to find the last hotspot (its not the lighthouse!) do more points open up later? Same goes for the investigations, I seem to be missing two or so of all, which are not on the map

Have you try to hack the ctOS Tower to reveal more activities on the map?

If you did the towers, and still can't find it... It's probably under one of those criminal hideout icons so try zooming in on the map nearby those side quests.

Ubisoft has released a patch for Watch Dogs and it may fixed the issue you're having.

Thankfully, I've managed to get all online trophies out of the way so I can disable invasion during my campaign. :)

The tailing missions are just as tedious as they are in Ass Creed. Awful stuff.

Just finished the game, that last mission was so strawberry floating annoying! Reminded me of the last mission from Dr1ver. I was trying to finish with a vigilante ranking, not sure if it mattered, but it was impossible trying not to kill police or civilians when you are just relentlessly hunted.

The lighthouse scene made no sense either

I found my last hotspot though, by sheer luck, it wasn't on my map but I could way point it from a nearby location.

"Traced" can be one of most annoying or luckiest trophy ever. I had to reset my notoriety so I can get somebody to tailing me and I also had to pause the game a few times to reveal if he/she is in my game.

At last, it paid off at the end.

This is why I'm playing video games just less and less now. All of 3 minutes into booting up Watch Dogs and it crashes.

Fair enough. Load it up again. And it's already strawberry floating broken.

Excuse the crappy photo, but this is the brightness slider. That doesn't work. It's set to maximum. Does nobody test their strawberry floating software any more. For Christ Sake.

Patches are the new DLC/microstransactions. Didn't you get the memo KK?

The constant repeating phone calls with the same info is a strawberry floating joke. You go off to muck about between missions and that old hacker strawberry float is ringing every 4 mins with the same info. CHEERS.

That happened in far cry 3 too. Every time you respawned somewhere you got the last phone call you got playing over again.

Ubisoft have announced they'd shipped 8 million copies of Watch Dogs to retailers. I know that's not going to be quite that amount sold, but it's still safe to say it's been hugely successful for them. Hopefully it follows Assassins Creed's path of a slightly underwhelming first game that turns into a pretty good series.

Finished the campaign last night. It takes a while to get going, but I started really enjoying it from act 2 onwards. Loved the car chases in this, especially when you've unlocked stuff like exploding the steam pipes, and I was really surprised with how well the stealth and combat is done. Sneaking around and headshotting people with the silenced pistol was so satisfying  and the big gunfights were well done with the adding hacking powers to interact with the environment. The influences from Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6 really show.

I've been going around doing all the side missions like the human trafficking and serial killer investigation stuff, I never really bothered with most of the equivalent stuff in the Assassin's Creed games. I'll be keeping an eye out on the DLC releaces and will probably pick some of that up. Haven't tried much of the online stuff yet so that's what I'll be doing next.

I've definitely had more fun playing this than Infamous: Second Son so far (still haven't completed it) and probably Assassin's Creed 4 as well (sailing sections held it back from being better). They've got a really solid foundation to build another franchise on so I can't wait to see what they do with the next game.

I agree with you there.

Yet, I've just reached the first mission of Act III and I think it's great so far. I've also done most of side missions just to get them out the way so I can focus on the campaign better.

Although, there are a few things that they could improve for the sequel if that happens.

I've dipped my toe into this game finally, and I (unfortunately) agree with a lot of what Mafro said just there ^. I'm at the end of Act I, my lack of progress severely hampered by the dizzying array of side-missions. I've been watching a lot of Person of Interest lately as well, and if I was CBS then I'd be on the phone to a solicitor! So naturally I've been getting my Jim Caviezel on and being a badass crime fighter, but they're the only side-mission that is never ending, right? Easy way to get some sweet XP though.
Like Assassins Creed, the wealth of side content does detract from the main story, which doesn't help it's cause when the plot is a messy contrived state to start with. What's also alarming is realising that every Ubisoft game that isn't a 2D side-scroller asks you to do the same things - tail this guy, liberate this base/camp etc to unlock more things to do, and frequently get confused between whether it wants to be a stealth game or an action game. Loads of Ubi's content is the exact same, it's kinda sad - a studio with a huge army of staff has only the same 4/5 ideas throughout 99% of their content.

Probably because he needs one hand on the wheel and the other on his phone for the haxx. Then again, there's no reason why couldn't have let you switch between the two.

I've had several prompts from the game whilst in a car, saying 'press L1 to holster your weapon' which was quite confusing. Perhaps in an earlier build it was possible to shootbang behind the wheel.

I'm in Act II but to be honest I'm bored rigid. It's the plot missions! They're garbage. Instead they should have just designed, I dunno, 50 or so of those gang hideouts. They are far and away the best thing in the game - scoping out the area, blowing up stuff to take guys down, clearing the whole thing without being spotted. Incredibly satisfying when your recon/hacking skills pays off like that.
The other side missions though :| "1 down, 59 to go!". No way, there are far too many of a single type.
