I like wearing a baseball cap but for some reason I’m self conscious about it around some people but I’m getting better at it.

I have no interest in snap backs, just don’t think they suit me in anyway.

As a kid I never used to touch hats growing up. My best mate always wore baseball caps, everyday in his teens, less so in his 20’s but now we are in our 30s I haven’t seen him in one in years but I wear one 50% of the time in the summer now. Strange how we change.

I wear baseball / beanie / flat cap hats for most of the year; in winter to keep warm and in summer to shield from the sun. I also have a couple of Superdry tshirts that do have fairly prominent logos on them. Totes not bothered what others think about my style.

What the strawberry float is a snap back? Bloody kids.

Unless it's freezing cold or so sunny you need to shelter from sunlight, I'll never wear a hat. Imo they are personality substitutes for dull people. Oh I'm boring as strawberry float but check out my flat cap I wear all the time along with an explorer scarf I'm one step away from a cat walk model.
If you wear a hat as an accessory rather than out of necessity, you look like a total bellend. And dont get me started on people keeping stickers on their baseball cap peaks, the strawberry float are you doing?

This is absolutely ludcrious even by your standards

maybe Ad was attacked by snap back wearing thugs and now harbours a deep resentment for all hat-wearers?

To be fair if I'm going casual I'll wear anything. Went for a quick walk there with beat up Nikes and a pair of Adidas trackies with massive holes in them.

As long as you can dress up when the occasion requires that's all that matters.

There are fewer more distressing sights than that of an Englishman in a baseball cap.

The cap material looks (intentionally) rough but those wee pins are just  The CB and GSW 9FORTY are tempting me...

I have all the 9forty pins now :toot: Just bought the Bulls one off Ebay for under £25! (Including p&p.) Such a shame they didn't do a Cavs in 9forty

I bought a flat cap the other week, only worn it twice but I quite like it and have had a good reaction from people. I thought I'd get subjected to "the bants" but apparently they're pretty trendy at the moment.

Nice going, Preezy - I've worn flat caps for a few years now. I wore one when I was at a horse racing event on Saturday; needless to say, there were "mad bantz" but you gotta go with things and just rock it :-) .

I normally wear a baseball cap in summer, and a woolly hat in winter.

As far as caps are concerned, i normally end up with something i've purchased on holiday or at an event, so my last one was a blue Italy one from a souvenir shop, and before that i was using a Royal International Air Tattoo one.

I also have a substantial collection of F1 merchandise caps, but most of those are pretty dated now.

I think one of my most recent F1 caps was a Brawn GP one.

I don't really tend to wear hats that often, I've got a couple of old baseball caps that I probably wouldn't wear now, I've got one F1 related cap that I was given a while back, got the old Silverstone layout on which looks pretty good. Kind of tempted to get myself a newish F1 related one for the odd times I do actually wear a hat, might go for the new McLaren one as they don't look bad at all really. Don't really wear wooly hats in the winter either due to having overly thick hair that I don't get cut anywhere near as often as I should.

Baseball caps on adult men. :dread:

Stop wearing them FFS! Unless you look like 50 Cent or Jay Z you are almost certainly not cool enough to look good wearing one.

Personally I never wear caps, or any form of hat for that matter. For one thing they simply just don't suit me, I've never worn anything on my head that didn't look ridiculous, but also because I have the kind of hair that just gets completely strawberry floated up if I put any kind of hat on.

It's ridiculous - I would either have to keep the hat on constantly or spend 10 minutes sorting my hair out every time I took the hat off! And not in a vain "oh I can't possibly have a hair out of place!" kind of way, more like "I've had this hat on for five seconds and suddenly my hair has turned into Doc Brown's out of Back to the strawberry floating Future!"
