Might even have to put a fleece on. :)

Genuinely baffled how anything in that serve could be considered a good thing.

Been around 15-17C here today with plenty of splashes of sunshine. The windows are still down, the countryside is still looking beautiful and the ladies still fine.

The summer will never end. Begone with your Game of Thrones "Winter is coming" stuff 8-)

Winter is truly coming though :)

Been lovely weather wise today anyway, about 17c this afternoon and 12c this evening on my commute home. Looks like we've had a bit of rain as well but it's been pretty clear skies this evening.

You can’t tell me that people prefer this shitty weather than what we have been having?

It's absolutely shitting down now, so I not only have to walk the dog in this crap shortly, but also have to cycle in and start work soaking.

Yeah much better than warm sunny weather m8 gg

Thank god our London based forumites can now close their one window and enjoy their delayed busses and trains without the hellish heat

Ah, drizzle. I got to work feeling nice and refreshed. More importantly, I got 8 hours’ sleep last night! Lovely stuff.

Obviously a balance is good, but that balance should never exceed 32°C for my money.

Walking to work in the rain:

It wasn't raining too badly so it was quite nice, and it's not bitterly cold yet so it wasn't proper annoying. Waking up when it's dark outside, though :dread:

Rain, rain and more bloody rain.

[sarcasm]Hooray, so glad the sun has gone. Now I have to spend ages locating and putting on extra layers of clothing before I can even leave the house! I have to drive more slowly because everyone on the road becomes an idiot when exposed to H20! If I want to take the kids anywhere it is now a full on mission rather than simply opening the door and heading straight outside!

Oh joy of joys, thank goodness those hellish times of the sun actually being visible during the summertime are over![/sarcasm]

I take it you’re not like me in that you have to put Factor 50 on every exposed surface when the sun peeks its head out then. Throwing on another layer is infinitely more preferable.

To be fair, I do see both sides. I have SAD, so when it goes gloomy and dark my mood takes a downturn. But when it’s blazing hot I can’t sleep and sweat a bunch (look away now ladies), and there’s a limit to the number of layers I can take off. Can always put more on!

TL;DR: Roll on the few days of autumn sunshine.
