I was lying about in the sun and got completely confused about what time it was and started worrying that I was late for work... then realised that I was wearing shorts and had already got home from work. Yeah, definitely need to drink more water and stay in the shade.

In theory I love the idea of summer. I like the long days, blue sky and sun. The practicalities though. I just don't deal well with the heat, I sweat, the veins on my arms, hands and feet swell up, I don't sleep at night, and during the day the heat just drains me. I'm fine if there is a breeze or walking through the woods but anything else tends to be unbearable. It's a shame because I'd love to be out in it.

I love winter though. I don't feel the cold very much and quite happily walk round the house with just a tshirt and boxers. I'll quite happily go walking for hours in the snow and really wish we had colder winter with more snow. Winter>>>>>>>Summer

Another +1 for winter here.

I think I'm starting to melt now in Essex. It's so sticky, oh god it's awful.

OK, I'll concede tonight. It's pretty bad round Essex right now, yes.

I will admit that the warm evenings can be a bit of a nightmare but I'd take them any day over the months of having to de ice the car and driving in horrendous conditions.

Summer mornings are wonderful.

At night, I can close the windows and be cooked alive or open the windows and end up in Earth Defence Force 2014.

This. I hate bugs (I literally can't sleep if there's something in the room) so I've had to resign myself to keeping windows closed as much as I can. Been getting moths the past few weeks as well. Creepy huge big bastards. :dread:

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

It's strawberry floating hot in Seoul, man. Absolutely dying. It's bullshit that I have to wear trousers to work, whilst all the women wear skirts. Stupid sexy skirts. :x Currently 34 degrees (3:45 pm), and the humidity is stupid. My trousers are stuck to my legs.

There's a strawberry floating crow somewhere close to my window that caws all morning long from something like 5am onwards, but if I close the window I have to swim out of bed thanks to the sweat

In Norwich and it's warm but very nice. yesterday was also roasting but there was a really nice gentle breeze throughout the day , so far i think for the evenings only one of them have been really bad but have a good fan which has a timer on it so it helps me get to sleep.
