It already feels so much cooler with mmy one window open. It's cloudy as well! It's... beautiful!

I find the UK attitude to heat absolutely baffling. People moan about the cold and rain, then spend tens of pounds jetting off for 2 hours to Tenerife where the greatest effort has been spent turning it in to a caricature of the UK, where they will sit all day long sweating their bollocks off in non air conditioned rooms and say how amazing it is, yet be in the exact same environment here and complain about it endlessly. You'd think they'd be happy on saving the £30 Ryanair fare for more fags, plus having a real copy of the sun and not a black and white photocopy.

Who would have thought that Ad7 would struggle to understand people?

at weather returning to semblance of normalcy for next few days! Means I don't have to start workouts ridiculously early just to avoid higher than usual temps.

I feel cool waiting for the train. Woohoo!

My neighbour this morning had a theory about this and he thinks when people are on holiday they dont care as much as they dont have to work and can laze around all day.

It's not much of a theory, more bloody obvious. :lol:

There is a big difference between having to go about your normal working day in 30 degree heat to being on holiday in 30 degree heat. It's also common to have air conditioning at holiday destinations in hot countries.

I don't actually mind the heat in the daytime, but it is unpleasant at night when I am trying to sleep.

On my walk into work there was Thunder! And there was RAIN!

The sun god has been pleased with our sweat sacrifice! We're saved!

Much cooler here today which was welcome for the ride in, sadly I was about as worn out and that when I ended my ride in as there was a bloody headwind, not sure if I prefer the heat or a head wind for the ride really.

Why can't the weather just be normal. Back to wind and cloud.

Cloud I don't mind but wind? No, just no. A mild breeze is OK when it is sunny.

I'm happy if it's dry and warm enough for just a t-shirt.

I hate the overcast cloudy skies and early dark evenings in winter. That is the single worst thing about the UK (and Germany and France too, for that matter).

Dark Evenings are the absolute best. It being light at 10PM is awful.
